I am currently a third year Sports Journalism student at UCLan, set to graduate in summer 2025. The course is accredited by the BJTC, and I am also studying an additional NCTJ Diploma qualification. My time at university has allowed me to develop my skills in the television, radio and digital media environments - that I have since taken into the industry.

Awards - Royal Television Society
Television Production and Broadcast Journalism Scholar 2022 - 2025
At the beginning of my degree, I was awarded a prestigious bursary by the Royal Television Society, designed for high potential students. The scheme has given me access to my industry mentor, a Programme Editor at ITV Sport, who I regularly meet with. The scheme also offers students both financial support and the opportunity to attend several different networking days over the three years as a scholar.

As part of my commitments to the scheme, I began public speaking at different networking events, to offer advice to fellow students based on my experiences in the industry.
Awards - The John Schofield Trust
Scholar 2024 - 2025
I am also a John Schofield Trust scholar, which has given me access to Match of the Day presenter Mark Chapman as my industry mentor, who I regularly meet with for advice, tips and guidance. The scheme also offers different networking and Zoom sessions for scholars.
